Some years ago, I was told to treasure little stones,
to keep them and make them grow into a mountain.
But these little stones may seem invisible, impossible to reach
but you’ll need each stone to make your own mountain.

But sometimes I just wanna fly away and reach for the sky
from above, mountains seem so small.
Sometimes I just wanna fly.
Never think about consequence.

Some years ago, I was told that walking a thousand miles is no big deal.
You simply keep on placing one foot in front of the other enough times.
But you have to know where you’re heading, and where your journey ends.
But in the mean-time each step is just a step.

Sometimes I just wanna fly away and reach for the sky
from above, mountains seem so small.
I just wanna fly.
Never think about consequence.

Some time from now I see myself just a little bit more at ease;
a little bit older, a little bit wiser, a little bit more pleased.
But still searching for the perfect day and for some peace of mind.
I’ll always keep my mountain as a guidance.

I just wanna fly away and reach for the sky
from above, mountains seem so small.
Sometimes I just wanna fly.
Never think about consequence.
Never think about consequence.
Never think about consequence.
